Team Building – Creating clay busts

Offer your teams a distinctive artistic experience with our team building activity Creating a bust in clayAn immersive experience where creativity, collaboration and communication come together to give birth to a unique collective sculptural work.

Organized into teams of approximately 5 participantsThe collaborators take on the challenge of designing and sculpting a bust in self-hardening clay, whether it be the president's bust, a popular artist's bust, or a character inspired by the group's imagination. For nearly 2 hoursThe artists in each of us express themselves freely in order to impress their colleagues and create a work that carries meaning.

A creative, structured and accessible experience
Each team has all the necessary equipment:

• Air-drying modeling clay (no baking required, hardens naturally)

• Wooden stands with ball bearing bases pivoting (4 stations available)

• Complete set of sculpting tools:

  • Knives

  • Spatulas

  • Drafting tools

  • Serrated wooden tools, picks and various accessories

• Protective lab coats (if needed)

A professional trainer-artist The instructor accompanies participants throughout the activity: demonstrating simple techniques, offering practical advice, creative support, and supervision, while allowing each team to express themselves independently. A mini sound system is also provided to create an inspiring atmosphere.

Collaboration, communication and creativity
Within a maximum time of 2:15The teams must:

• Imagine a common concept

• Divide up the roles

• Structuring their approach

• Construct, adjust and finalize their bust

This approach naturally promotes cohesion, active listening, problem-solving and collective decision-making, while valuing individual strengths.

An evolving and sustainable creation
At the end of the activity, each team keeps its bust, which will dry naturally over the following weeks. The sculpture can then be painted or personalized, thus extending the experience well beyond the event.

• Duration: up to 2 hours 15 minutes

• Indoors or outdoors (depending on conditions)
