Speed-meeting literally means having several successive quick meetings in order to find people who meet your needs and are related to the theme of the activity.
Depending on the different objectives that you have to achieve, Top-Teambuilding has created Speep-Meeting exercises which allow you to get to know the participants of a conference or any other such event better in a relatively short time.
A newly formed team is just a collection of individuals at first. The group becomes a real work team when an objective unites them, but especially when a collaboration strategy is put in place. When a working method is developed and the members adopt a clear role, we are dealing with a work team! During the first meeting, team members must discuss freely to identify common tasks and establish operating rules. By being attentive to the strengths and weaknesses inherent in the group, members are able to anticipate difficulties and circumvent obstacles, or at least face them with confidence.
From the first meeting, each member introduces themselves: they mention not only their first and last name, but also useful information regarding the completion of the work to be carried out. What are his skills? His special skills? His availability? These first exchanges promote good contact between members and reduce the risk of role confusion. The first meeting is also an opportunity for team members to identify the common target and task. Each member participates in defining the goals to be achieved and choosing the work tools to carry out the task. Consensus is of course necessary for a positive and rewarding team spirit.
We are able to adapt our Speed-Meeting exercises according to the number of people, the duration and your objectives. At your request, it is even possible to design a tailor-made formula for your group and according to your criteria.
